As a practicing Hindu I always keep a copy of Bhagavad Gita with me. Last year during seasonal rains my house got flooded and my bag in which I kept my Bhagavad Gita got drenched in water.
Since then I have been wanting to get a new copy of Bhagavad Gita and recently found one on Amazon. It was written by Eknath Easwaran (The Bhagavad Gita by Eknath Easwaran).
The overall book is written in English and it is very easy to read. Knowing Sanskrit or Devnagiri script is not required and hence can be read by people across India and elsewhere.
I am so impressed by the simplicity of this book that I want to write a shorter version of Bhagawad Gita which can be a quick read for the average Joe.
